We are excited to announce that our term one activities are now open for booking! Whether you're looking to learn something new, stay active, or simply have fun, we have a variety of activities to choose from.
Activities Available:
Procreate Digital Art Try-Out Session: Curious about digital art? Join our one-off session on Tuesday, 4th February, from 1pm-3pm at Russell Square. Cost: $10 (deposit for the term program if you continue). Learn the basics of Procreate and create your own digital artwork.
Chair-Based Yoga Class with Audrey: Perfect for those who prefer not to practise on the floor. Weekly from Wednesday, 5th February to 2nd April, 10:30am – 11:45am at Russell Square. Cost: $99. Improve strength, mobility, and balance with guided relaxation.
Procreate Digital Art Course: Unleash your creativity with our full-term course from Tuesday, 11th February to 1st April, 1pm-3pm at Russell Square. Cost: $99. Bring your iPad or borrow one of ours!
Ballarat North Neighbourhood House Playgroup: Starting from 3rd February to 31st March, every Monday, 9:15am to 10:30am at Russell Square. Gold coin donation. A great way for children under school age to engage in fun activities.
Watercolour Social Group: Held every Thursday from 6th February to 3rd April, 9:15am - 12:00pm at Russell Square. Bring your materials and enjoy a peaceful morning dedicated to art and community.
Neurodivergent Craft and Activity Group: Thursdays from 6th February to 4th April, 1pm - 3pm at Ballarat Library. Free. A welcoming space for neurodivergent individuals to work on projects and socialise.
Learn to Crochet and Yarn Bomb!: Wednesdays from 12th February to 3rd April, 1pm - 3pm at 36 Camp Street, Ballarat Central. Free. Learn to crochet and contribute to a community yarn bombing project for Pride Month.
Frame Seekers: Photography Walking Group: Weekly at 9am from Wednesday, 12th February to 2nd April. Meet at Russell Square. Cost: $80. Improve your photography skills while exploring the outdoors.
Celebrating Pride: Ballarat's Rainbow Storytelling: Weekly from Wednesday, 12th February to 2nd April, 11am – 12:30pm. Location details provided to participants. Cost: $100. Create a coffee table book celebrating Ballarat Rainbow Pride.
