There are lots of ways that you can get involved with the Ballarat North Neighbourhood House.
You can become a member of our organisation, a volunteer or collaborate with us to deliver courses, activities or events. If you’re a little on the time poor side, but want to help us support our community, you can also make a donation.
Volunteering

New programming
Got an idea for ongoing social activities? Have a new and emerging course that you think our community will love? Thinking of some ongoing programming that you think will be engaging and build confidence and skills? Please get in touch. We’d love to hear your ideas and explore what’s possible. Student Placements
We’re also available to do student placements. So if you’re studying community services, social work or something in the human services, we’d love to hear from you. We can also support business administration and marketing placements because there’s important work that happens behind the scenes too.
If you’d like to enquire about a student placement as part of your course, we’d love to discuss opportunities.

The Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association is the group that looks after neighbourhood houses. Become a Member
As a community organisation, we are committed to ensuring our organisation is led by the communities who engage with us. Becoming a member is one way in which you can become involved and influence and contribute to the direction of the organisation. Members can participate in our committee meetings, vote on key decisions or nominate for committee positions (over 18). If you are interested in becoming a member, contact us for further information.
